RO connection

I planned on tapping into the washing machine line with a splitter but when I was checking out I saw it said outdoor use only and had the whole causes cancer speel. That was the heavier duty brass one. There was also a cheaper zinc one but I didn’t want to go cheap. What did y’all use? The brass one?
