Lol, I just didn't want everyone reading this shopping for a new RODI system to think they HAD to get a booster pump as well. That's all, in MOST cases they are appropriate as it seems generally household PSI falls in the 40ish PSI Range. But it's not true everywhere, so it's always best to know the pressure of your home before investing in a booster pump

My PSI from the street where I live is 85, actually higher than the max rating for RODI fittings.

Typically the fittings can handle higher pressures. The weak link in these systems in terms of ability to withstand elevated pressure typically is the clear housings.
