The top containment vessel (much better than a tank) will hold 25 gallons of De-ionized Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO), as opposed to using just plain ol' water. It has a float valve in it to shut off my DHMO production unit automatically. It will have a 1/4" tubular transportation unit (as opposed to tubing) gravity feeding to another float valve in my sump, eliminating top-offs. It will also be plumbed into the top of the lower containment vessel to mix Sodium Chloride (instead of salt) with the DHMO, using a submersible electron excited, internally rotating circulation device. At that point, a larger tubular transportation unit (used in place of standard 5/8" clear tubing) will transport the DHMO (H2O) and Sodium Chloride (NaCL) solution into the sump for easy, mess free DHMO replacement.

So, to recap, the top tank holds fresh RO/DI water for auto topoff and storage, and the bottom tank is for mixing and storing saltwater.

Sluf...or should I call you Mr. Spok! Where in the world did you come up with that phraseology, thats awesome dude,I am proud to know somebody with such knowledge!!!!!LOL!!! And to beat it all,he's my friend, wow you just never know,by the way that's going to look and fit great there. :der: :bounce: Got cha my friend

Industrial Plastic Works here in Knoxville. Not sure if you can buy from them on the internet or not. Several places on the internet sell those tanks though. Maybe not EXACTLY like those, but very comparable.

OK, so I made 20 gallons of RO/DI water and transfered it to the mixing tank. I put a small pond pump in the mixing tank that comes on with my lights to mix/circulate the saltwater. Water change will happen in the am. I am manually controlling the shutoff on the top tank until I can plumb in a drain, just in case the float valve were to fail. I also need to get another float valve at some point to use in my sump for auto topoff. I'll worry about that later though.

And yes it was IPW in Knoxville. There are so many places to get those on the net

Looks very nice and beats the 6 or 7 containers we have all over our laundry room. I plumbed an RO unit in our kitchen but I really like this as a storage alternative. Also like the idea of the circulating pump helping to keep the saltwater mixed up. Great job.

Thanks Faith! I gotta give Shawn some credit though. I got the setup from him and just modified it to fit my application.
