RO/DI auto feed question...

Hi guys...

First, I wanna thank all for the help....


I setup a auto feed to my RO/DI that auto feeds my tank as needed. I have a drain attached to my skimmer. It auto feeds 2 -3 times a day for about an hour.

My Question is:

Can I use hot water to run thru my RO/DI that flows into my sump? Does it matter whether it is hot water or cold?
I was wondering if hotter water would save on electic for my heaters?

Hot water to my RO/DI is about 25 feet away from my hotwater heater thru a 1/4 inch line.

150 gallon tank
25 gallon sump
My heaters are in my sump

No hot water, it will burn up your membrane and render it useless.
