How many of you have a split between your RO and DI for a pressure tank for drinking water and what are your setups like?

20in Prefilter
Chloramines Monster (catalytic carbon unit)
Aquatec Booster Pump (90 psi)
BRS 7 Stage
1 carbon
2 carbon
3 carbon
RO
Permeate pump
Split to DI and Pressure tank
DI 1
DI 2
DI 3
Mixing station with shut off float valve.

My system is in the basement and my pressure tank is up stairs about 20ft away. Because of this I have decided to include a permeate pump.

For now, I will turn the T valve to whatever water I’m making. I would like to have it running for DI and Pressure tank with the auto shut off valve but I do not have that installed yet.

Looking other ways to achieve automatic pressure tank and DI without have to manually turn the system on and off.

Thanks!

Do you have a picture? I've been thinking about how to set up my RODI to be more effective and efficient. Doing a garage remodel and I'd like to add a dedicated sink (cleaning and what not), water line dedicated to the RODI, holding tanks. I know there are a few threads out there if you haven't looked already.

Some good stuff shared in this thread... I also look at Pinterest you'll have to link out to where they posted setup instructions.

I’ve taken inspiration from here and a few other forums. Here is a picture when I was first setting it up to give you a general idea. Most everything is in my basement and I’ve got a waste line and product line running to a sink. I run both because I have an air-gap faucet which requires both product and waste.

I have my storage tanks to the right and have both a permeate pump and Aquatec 8800 booster pump with auto flush and auto shut off.

Permeate pump acts as an auto shut off

You will also need a check vlave so the water can not flow from the tank to the DI.

There used to be diagrams of this set up on Specturepure website.
