RO/DI FILTER USED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION???

Hey guys,

Stupid question, can an RO/DI kit be used for drinking water as well? I ask because would like to link it to my fridge water dispenser for drinking and when I need to produce water for my tank, I can use the quick connect fittings.

Use these as a guide, run it off the ro, not the di stage.

Yes, use the Spectrapure diagram paying attention to the check valve. It also must have a pressure tank on the drinking water side to provide the pressure and volume for the ice maker and drinking faucet.
