RO/DI help

Your water pressure is controlled by a pressure switch. You can tweak that switch some to get more pressure to your entire house.

I'd need to see a water analysis, but I'm hard pressed to see how you have usable water at 1000 ppm without some additional whole house treatment (e.g., softener).

even in wells? Think I have to up that pump? Also don't need 80psi running through the hole house. And are you saying 1000 is high or low with softener? And I wanna say we don't have a sotftner. Sorry if it sounds noobish.

Does anyone know a good booster pump to recommend

If you go with a higher gpd, make sure you have the water pressure for it;)

It's normally between 50-60 and won't a booster bump just raise pressure on the system. Not my hole house correct

That's all I got. Sorry I'm no expert yet. Not sure if this picture helps

And I first ran it from the hose. Now I'm going through the laundry which is prefiltered.. By what I'm not sure I will have to ask my pops.

Sorry I don't understand your question

I'm saying you CAN tweak that pressure switch - likely you could get a 5 to 10 psi increase easily.

And are you saying 1000 is high or low with softener?
TDS that high typically indicates high hardness. Softeners remove hardness - but they don't have an appreciable effect on TDS.

You'd know it if you did - it would have a garbage can sized bin that you would have to add 40lb bags of salt to.

It would be difficult for anyone to say that an Aquatec 8800 isn't the booster pump of choice. We've sold them for 15+ years and have had very very good luck with them.

Yes I don't think I have water softener and my dad told me to kick rocks when I asked him about one.

I will ask about about trying to up the pressure. But that will increase it for the whole house correct?

If not I will look into the booster pump.

Really appreciate the feedback guys

Typical residential water pressure is probably 45 to 60. Universal plumbing code has a residential max of 80.

Installing a booster pump is not a bid deal.
Better to use a booster pump and not playing with the whole house pressure and pipings
And that's my issue with this whole thing. i shouldn't have to raise the pressure for my unit to work. Like I opened a can of worms ever since I purchased this.

Does anyone recommend a good booster pump for a 90gpd spectrapure? Someone listed the aquatec.

do I need a better system? Or just chill out and it will come with some tweaks here and there
