So I bought a aquafx 200 gallon per day 5 stage with 2 additional carbon filters. I guess that makes it a 7 stage??? It also has a booster pump, the guy said he own a store and with the booster pump it will produce 150 gallons an hour. I paid $100 bucks for it all, not bad I guess. So my question is where do I get replacement filters and membranes at and doe the brand matter. Also do I need the extra 2 stage carbon filters? Just seems a little overkill.

Seems like a 6 stage filter that uses common 10" cartridges. It also seems similar enough to the BRS 6 stage - https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/6-stage-75gpd-plus-ro-di-system-bulk-reef-supply.html the manual is at https://s3.amazonaws.com/brsinstructions/brsRODI/6-stage-plus-2017.pdf

You can get replacement filters there. Without knowing it's history - I would replace all the filters in one go.

Edit: Judging by the 2nd photo - the input water seems to be on the right side.
Looks about right except mine has 2 membrane filters on top. Sorry can't tell from the pictures

If you’re on well water you don’t need any carbon blocks
If on city water 2 is a good way to go

Brand doesn't matter, depending on how you plumb it and your source water psi will dictate if you need the booster pump. I have a utility sink in my fish room and use a faucet diverter valve on my system. I have high pressure water coming into my house and can peg the psi gauge if I wanted. I would replace the sediment filter and the carbon filters, get at least a 2 stage TDS inline meter and see where you are at.
