RO/DI - how many stages?

Hey all,

Setting up my first tank and trying to figure out my RO/DI system.

I'm in Scottsdale with a TDS reading of 485.

Was wondering how many stages you are using here in the Phoenix metro area.

5 stage, 1 micron particulate, 5 micron carbon block, SpectraPure 99% Rejection membrane, SpectraPure Max Cap DI, SpectraPure Silica buster.

I have high 700's (768, but fluctuates throughout the year) TDS, and can take it down to 0 out of the first stage DI, and the second is just a polish/security.

Any 4 or 5 stage will work, personally I have a 90GPD Spectrapure and love it.

Side note, before switching to Spectrapure DI, I was only able to get my TDS down to 3-5 with a single aquatic life mixed bed resin, so DI resin definitely matters.
I have also tested my RODI with ICP and have attached my result's.

Inhabe a Spectrapure 90gpd and love it as well, its old too. 4 stage or 5 stage if you want to run dual di.
