Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my RODI system. Water is coming out before it gets into the adapter thing before it goes into the black hose.
It worked perfectly until yesterday when I unscrewed it so my mom could use the sink, but ever since I screwed it back on, water is pouring out the top. I can attach a video when I get home. Also I bought these rubber rings to put in the faucet ring seeing if it would help the problem, but it didn't. I tried tape as well, didn't work.

Probably need a rubber washer, it might have fallen out yesterday. You have to upload you videos to youtube and then past a link;)

Ok. Here's the rubber things I was talking about

You need a garden hose rubber washer like this. I get them from HD/Lowes in a pack of ten for a couple dollars.

I suspect the shower washer (and whatever other one is) is just a tad off allowing water to sneak up threads.

With that said, the leak does not appear to be terrible (could be worse than what's briefly seen in video)... if your membrane is receiving enough pressure you could use as-is.

I agree with the above post....the rubber o-ring must have fallen out.

I did get and use those. I posted the picture of it. It's still doesn't seem to work though. And I wouldn't want any of that sink water spilling into the bucket with RO water!

it either the adapter is cracked or the washer is not seating against the metal of the faucet. even is the line was clogged that shout not leak. I would walk through the setup and inspect every part in that fitting. Or go to HD and get another faucet adapter.

water comes out before mine too and it works fine, what kind of ro system do you have? does it have a pressure gauge? think about how little that hose is compared to the big hole its connected to lol

SpectraPure and yep it has a pressure gauge. The thing is though that it wasn't doing this before when I had it on, only when I screwed it back on after being off for an hour. Also, the tap water will drop down the hose and into the RO water bucket and I can't have that happen!
