Ro-di question about drain line

i have a closet that would make a good water closet. I can run the water line from the water heater easily. But I have no plumbing near it for a drain line. Anyone know if it can be drained back to water heater, or another solution?

You should have some drain near your water heater to run the rodi output into. That's what I do but my fish room is right next to the water heater.

Fantastic!!!!! It’s a short distance.. water closet, then about 2 feet under the stairs..
