Hi this is my 6 stage RO System, 3 stages on the bottom and 3 on the top. My question is, will it effect the unit's function if I run a longer line on the top units (The white tube) from the bottom ones. Because id like to remove the top ones and set them to the side so that I can seal the unit in a tub b/c the unit sits out side.

THANKS!

How long of a run are you talking about? A foot or so? I believe the pressure gauge is there to measure the supply pressure to the RO membrane- a BRS brand requires a minimum of 50 psi for example. If you have enough supply pressure a short run should be no problem.

The leak looks to be comming from the valve with the spigot. Also try pushing the red tubing in all the way into the push connect, it could be loose. If its leaking from the adapter get some teflon tape to wrap the threading, i had to use teflon for mine because it would constantly drip without it lol

I just rechecked it. It seems to be coming from the turn handle it self, must be a plumbing issue ill make sure to have a plumber check it out next time.

To fix the leak tighten the nut under the handle. Will take you all of 20 seconds to fix that.

Also - orient both your DI's vertically, so that water flows through each from the bottom to the top.

Russ

ONE Last question for you guys - the black hose, the "waste water" is that okay to drink? or is ro di okay do drink in general?
