Looking to invest in a new RO/DI system. Any suggestions? Am I safe purchasing a refurbished system? I'm thinking a 5 stage system for a 72 gallon bowfront. is that to much of a system for my needs?

I would recommend one of the entry level systems from bulk reef supply, look for something in the 75 gpd range. You can always expand later if needed.

I am using the 75gpd 5 stage plus from BRS and could not be happier. I think it is the best bang for your buck.

+1 Great system and very cost effective. While I use the BRS RO filters and 75 GPD Dowtech membrane, I've found the Spectra Pure MaxCap and SilicaBuster DI resin to be far superior lasting much longer than the BRS DI resin.
