So I just bought my first ro/di unit I really don't know much about them . So I got it working started making water I couldn't get to go pass 40 psi I did some research and I read that the need to be at least 60 psi . So I bought a booster pump for it . My question is do I have to re do the flow restrictor ? It's seems like it's making the water really fast .

You can adjust the booster pump to give you the pressure around 60. Does your unit have a pressure gauge on it to help monitor?

Either adjust the booster down to where you feel comfortable or let it go. Depending on your size, but a 75 GPD unit should be making about 3 gallons a hour.

Have you tested your waste ratio? Should be right at 4-1 waste - good

Yeah I have a 90gpd its spectrapure I thought it was a 4 to 1 but I called them and they told me it was made for a 3 to 1 .

Measure your waste ratio using a measuring cup and clock of watch for exactly one minute from both the waste an treated lines. It should be in the 3:1 to 4:1 range. If not you need to adjust the flow restrictor according to the directions in your onwers manual, usually starting around page 8 I believe.
