I just got and hooked up a 4 stage plus RO/DI unit and is working great! Should I add anything like Seachem Prime to remove chlorine and chloramine or is the RO water being made straight up good to go for salt mix?

I don't think so. Water here is VERY clean - IN reading on TDS is 3, OUT is 0

In as from the tap or in to the di canister? I don't think I've ever seen tap water that low.

To answer your original question, a RO/DI unit will take care of chlorines and chloramines. If any chloramines make it past the carbon filter the di should take care of them. If chlorine is making it past the carbon filter it will destroy your ro membrane. That is the main purpose of the carbon filter, to protect the ro membrane from chlorine since it can destroy it. That is why the recommended change interval is 6 months for the prefilters. Unless you are making a lot of water that has become the normal time to recommend. You could also keep track of how much water you make and change it once you reach the recommended amount that the carbon filter can treat.
