Hey everybody,

So I can't seem to find the filter guys website anymore? I'm not sure if they changed domains or what. But preparing for the worst, are the filter components a standard size/type? I saw BRS has a bunch of replacement units but I would be real bummed if that means I need to have one of their units for the filters to fit?

Sorry if this is a silly question lol

Thanks!

I believe they shut down about a year ago due to health issues. As long as you have the standard RO unit which most sold are, you can use the replacements from any store. They will say 10" cartridges. I would suggest going with 1 micron sediment filter and either a 1 micron or 5 micron carbon filter.

I have their 4stage that i bought used, and I need to replace the filters, any recommendations for that? Thanks!

If by 4 stage you mean sediment, carbon, RO membrane and then DI, you can just order from BRS or Spectrapure. I prefer Spectrapure 99% but that is because my tap water is high tds. As I stated in my original post, I prefer at least 1 micron on the sediment filter and then 5 or 1 micron on the carbon. The stuff BRS carries should work fine.
