RO/DI Resin Question

I just watched this video from Bulk Reef Supply:
In the comments, someone mentioned Spectrapure High Capacity Silicabuster. I think (not sure), that I have a silica issue as I generally get random diatom issues, so I'm considering this. Has anyone tried this as a replacement for the normal DI resin? If so, if you have a two stage DI do you use Silicabuster in one and bulk reef supply resin in the other?

I purchased the DI resin and silica blaster separate and change my own DI cartridge. The silica blaster smells like dead fish Work well for me.
