Yea it's only a 10 dollar upgrade my tds right when it comes in the house off of hard water is 350ppm. Just didn't know if that would help. I messed up putting it befor the water softer so wore out the color changing resin after about 90 gallons. You live and you learn. But I will upgrade the filters. Would it be worth while to add a booster pump tho since best rates are around 60 psi or just spend the money on the better filters??

If you have 60 psi a booster pump is hard to justify unless you are wanting more gpd. The rejection rate would go up a little but it would take a long time to pay for itself.

I'm right at 50 psi.

Dow Filmtec rates their membranes at 50 psi. 40 is bare minimum, 50-60 is good and it gets better the higher you go.
