Hi, I have the brs 75 gpd system. I just went to make a 5g bucket of clean water so I can do a water change and for some reason my blue water line that dispenses the clean water is making air bubbles it's never done this before. The filters are on tight and good. I just don't know what it could be any help would be great. Thanks

Is there a RO membrane flush kit on your unit? (Look for a little two-way ball valve on top of the unit)

Sorry, let me add to the questions.....

-Did you just recently change filters?
-Is there ANY water leaking around the unit?
-Do you have a pressure gauge installed on your unit?

Hmmmm... I would check and make sure your water source is fully open. And/Or try plugging the output line (blue), to build some back pressure, then release it and see if you get a steady stream again.

Is it a Bulk Reef Supply (BRS) RODI unit? 4-stage?

Also, how long have you had your system? If it has been over a couple of years, you may want to look into replacing the RO membrane itself. It may be plugged, especially with the lower-than-normal "output". The addition of bubbles to your problem sounds like a pressure or possible leak issue. Since you have no visible leaks, the former may be the problem.

Look for air trapped inside of the filter cartridges, normally any air should be pushed out of the system with normal operation, but it's another check off of the list.

Run the system and check the waste-water line. Is it slower/more heavy than normal?
