So as some of you know by now I live in a NYC apartment. This means no garage, no laundry room. With respect to an RO/DI system, what is the best way to achieve this in planning a saltwater tank? Both my kitchen and bathroom sink are renovated with Kohler brand faucets - cannot screw into them like a yard faucet or something. Are there any adapters people use to get around an issue like this?

Surely there is a way to attach a unit to a renovated sink w/o standard screw in mechanic.

Plumb it in underneath where the sink connects to the water line. FWIW, I'd spend the extra few bucks on quality fittings down there. 1)it's a permanent install (unless you want to go through the hassle of connecting/disconnecting it every time your use it) and 2)if you spring a leak, it's not just down the drain, it's on your floor.

Their should be aerators on both sinks contact kohler the key they give you looks like a castle tower top with ridges, and on your kitchen check in center for notches but the bath looks to be external, but probably same

I see the notches that this would fit in on kitchen faucet but not the bathroom faucet. what do they do?

edit: actually, below is a link which has pictures of both faucets. I don't think I see the notches after all. Though the kitchen faucet does have 2 grooves on opposite ends of the circle where the water comes out - I tried to get a good view of one of them.

I used these to connect to cold water supply under a bathroom sink, I placed the ball valve in easy reach so I wasn't having to climb under the sink to turn it on. I just shoved the waste line in the sink overflow when I was using it.

If you have a Friend thats a plumber Your options for underneath may get better I just Caution with messing with shut off valves in multi complexes buildings, if you kew or could find out model on your faucets than you could match the key and possibly change out the aerator easy?
here a pic of all the keys: https://www.google.com/search?q=koh...DQ1OXVAhVF6iYKHU-tA1QQsAQIZQ&biw=1680&bih=944 Your birds-eye view may notice what i cant , hope this helps
