RO/DI system question

I'm using my Spectrapure RO/DI starter system for the first time tonight, and I'm just wondering what to do with the system when I'm not using it? Do I remove all the canisters to get the water out and let it dry? My plan is only to hook it up once a month and create all the water I need for that month in one go, then put it away so it's not taking up my shower/bathroom. There's nothing in the instructions about storing it in between uses b/c I think most people set it up and use it continually?

I store mine with water still in the canisters. You do not want to let the cartridges dry out especially the membrane. I run mine for about 5 minutes before collecting the water just to be safe.

Always keep water in the housings. Do not allow the RO membrane or the DI resin to dry out or they can be damaged.
