Starting up can be overwhelming -- especially when it seems like everyone knows more than you do. Just ask -- we have plenty of veterans on here who are willing to jump in and help. Also, subject search the heck out of this forum. You likely aren't the first to have your question and chances are there is a previous thread somewhere about it. YouTube videos are a great way to start -- BRS has a fantastic series. When I first started I just sat and watched their videos all day. Check your local library to see what information you can find (I'm a librarian). And there never is a dumb question. All the reefers (including the experts) have been there before. And everyone has made mistakes. Very few haven't.Thanks again everyone for all the great advise and links. I was really starting to get kinda overwhelmed with this new tank but you've def given me some confidence bc I now know I can ask questions and receive really solid and quick answers.
I will def start a tank thread here shortly for everyone to see. If nothing else also to keep track of my progress.
