I just purchased this RO/DI system I have 51psi ,.. for some reason the water is trickling, would take me hours to fill a 5 gallon bucket. My trouble shoot thought was to check lines for possible clogs. Before I do that I figured I would get some more input as to some of you may have these issues. I do know it’s a new system and has to break in the cartridges. But I mean this is trickling

Can't really see the video. Maybe a pic.

Also what is the manufacturer and how many gpd are you supposed to be pushing.

Can't see your video. What type of RODI system are you using? Most systems seem to require a higher pressures. For example, I have a 5 stage with an input pressure around 70psi

I don't have that same system, but that looks just about the same as my flow on 50-70 PSI (well booster pump). Takes a while for sure, my system is rated 100GPD and it usually takes me a little longer than an hour to do 5 gallons. Have you timed it exactly?

I have a 4 stage and lucky to get 50psi entering the system. It takes me about 8- 10 hours to get around 25-30g.

Most ro systems need about 80 psi. Your also only running 1 membrane so you about a 4 to 1 waste ratio. Add a water saver and booster pump

With my setup here I make 5 gallons of rodi water in about 25min

I see on your setup you have booster pump also, according to the manufacturer the 4 stage requirements

I have pro 4 stage ..

I have 4 stage BRS SYSTEM .. from what I am reading 50psi operate this system I have 51psi .. and the water is trickling .. weird

So my system is this a 3 stage liquagen filter, going to a aquatec 8800 pump to about 85 psi, going to a 75gpd membrane then the waste to another 75gpd membrane then the waste to another 75gpd membrane, finally dual stage di resins

You will increase output with more pressure but 51 psi will be fine. Define coming how fast flowing. Does it have a flush valve that you have open instead of closed?

yes there is a flush valve, but according to the instructions while producing water the flush valve should remain in the closed position.

if that's the proper flow? if that was my flow i would be ok with that I guess, but thats not the flow i am getting

I have pro 4 stage ..

I have the same system but with one extra stage and the 100gpd filter (my water pressure is a bit higher around 70psi though). It produces a steady (but weak) stream exactly like you've pictured here. I can fill a 5 gal bucket in a little over an hour.

That's crazy, I might buy a 55 gallon drum or a garbage pail with lid whichever i can get faster and fill that. place a nozzle on it so I have water on tap.
