ro/di system

From what I have read technically you could drink RO or DI water, but the DI resin that is used is not food grade so it is not advised.

So before water reach the DI resin, I’m able to drink the rest?

I’ve read Ro/Di water is stripped from all its minerals. If you drink it, it will absorb some minerals lol in your bones and such. Minerals from your body just washes out down the toilet or your favorite tree… I also know it makes the water more acidic….

That's true

Nah. That's not how osmosis works.
It suggested you get something to
re-mineralize your water for drinking. Maybe it’s just a few sinks and you can shower, wash dishes, and wash hands and such with the RO/Di
A lot of bottled water for drinking is RO or distilled that has been 'remineralized'. They just add baking soda and other chemicals back in.

Really, the only thing that would concern me at all about drinking your own RO water would be that you don't get the fluoride that most cities add for tooth health.

I have drank my RO for a very long time now, and no teeth falling out of my head. Like some have said some bottled water is RO water with different salts added back in to give it a good taste.
