What brs stage RO/DI water filtration system do I need to get by with a 65 gallon mixed reef 30lbs rock?

Depends how bad the water is where you live. Can you check out your city's water report?

4 stage works for 90% of reefers. Bad source water will result in either more frequent filter changes or buying better quality filters. And if a 4 stage doesn't cut it, an additional 10" canister cost $15-30 plus cost of whichever type filter block your adding (usually another carbon or di block $10-25) and not even 5 minutes to plumb in.
