Which RO/DI system brands are the best? In your opinion, that is. Please only speak from experience, I have had people recommend from websites without buying the product and only checking the reviews.

BRS is the only one I have ever had. It might be the best or the worst. How would I know. It does what I want and has for years now.

I have an AquaticLife 4-stage twist-in 75 GPD system hooked up in my laundry room. I added a tankRO 6-gallon pressurized storage tank as well (takes 42min to fill up 5 gallons of RODI). I went with the twist-in system because even while more expensive, changing cartridges out takes literally no time at all. We don't have this on our upstairs RO system - my wife hates changing it out with a passion - and I had to find something that was simply and easy to maintain on pain of death.

★★★★★ Marriage survival
★★★★★ Ease of installation/setup
★★★★☆ Price
★★★☆☆ Capacity (with pressurized tank)

Mine is a 6 stages BRS and I have a smart buddie booster. Came with used aquarium I purchased. Works great.

I'm sure there are plenty that work fine... but what I would look for is one with clear canister so you can use color changing resin and see if your filters are getting dirty. Also one that already has a pressure gauge.

I probably would start with ordering a tds meter first and measuring your Incoming TDS before deciding how many stages you need to get. Or starting with a 4 stage and then adding more if your tds is high coming out of your ro membrane.

They are all the same with a different label slapped on. The filters inside are what matters and again almost all the same regardless of brand just three or four tiers of quality and someone else’s label slapped on.

I have a 5 stage LiquaGen system I got from Amazon. Does the job well. I have no issues. Replacement cartridges are readily available and the cost was less than half what the BRS systems are. I get 0TDS water from it and that is all that matters.

Best bang for your buck will be the brs 4 stage "plus" model. If you have chloramine you need another car on block, which can be added. If you have low pressure you need a booster pump of come kind (there are several). If you want to waste less water, a second membrane will help.

BRS. No issues.
