ro/di top off water

I would like to know how other Reefers prepare their top off water after running thru a RO/DI filter and if they use a TDS meter or other testing meters before adding to refug.? I do not have a doser just a 5gal water container and a valve to adjust drip. Thanks

I have a dual inline TDS meter. It test the water as it goes in and when it goes out. $25ish from bulkreefsupply.com. I just use the water, don't prepare it or anything.

Dual in line TDS meter, one after the RO and another after the DI. I add four tsp. of kalk to a 2 gallon jug, and add it to my sump daily. I do it manually.

Handheld TDS meter, much more accurate and versatile. I also have two dual inlines but never even turn them on anymore since I don't trust them.
I store my RO/DI in a 23 gallon Rubbermaid recycling can then use a UPLC II ATO device to transfer it from the storage in my garage to my sump. No water preparation is necessary since it is pure water.
For water changes I store RO/DI in five 5G drinking water jugs which I add to a 32 gallon Rubbermaid trash can along with Oceanic salt and mix with and old powerhead or pump until the specific gravity, temperature and pH are correct to add to the tank.

I fill 5 gallon buckets and check with a handheld tds meter. I have a 13gallon garbage can with lid next to my tank that i fill with ato water.
