RO/DI troubles

I upgraded to a 6 stage rodi unit about a month ago . have not checked on it for a couple of weeks and it feeds my top up container . so I thought I would turn on the tds meter and see how it is doing . wow 150 on the meter and this is going straight into my tank I don't know what is wrong with it

You need an auto flush unit if you're using it for auto fill. It sounds like salt creep from the membranes.

When I make RODI water I run my system with flush valve open for roughly five minutes. When I first make water TDS after membranes is 200+ and drops to 4 TDS in about 5 mins or less then I shut the flush valve.
