just got my ro unit today in the mail and turned it on made about 20 gallons maybe and i had the unit standing on my bed to drip into a trash can in my room. on the outside it seemed fine with pressure at 60's turned it off and laid down on my bed and it's all wet where my unti was. it's not leaking too badly i mean i had it on for at least 4 hours.

im going to check tomorrow and see where it is coming from but i don't think there is any cracks in the unit itself. i've never seen it leaking either. over time i would check it as well see how it was doing and the bed was still dry. seems like only when i turned it off that it got wet.

any ideas?

the run off and intake is running outside but the seal to the faucet isn't very tight and is shooting water which could be it but idk the end of the bed is wet all across the width. the unit itself is dry so im confused as to why it is leaking and if so where.

First off I would open every chamber one by one and adjust whatever is in it (sediment filter, carbon block etc) make sure they are seated properly and use provided wrench to tighten is well. Then open membrane chamber and make sure it's seated properly and tighten is well.
Next pull one by one all pipes from any connectors and reinsert them to make sure they are in properly. Lastly make sure your connection to water line is tight and sealed. If any of these are loose or not seated properly, back pressure when unit is off will try to escape from any weak spot it can. Good luck.

thanks yea i think it is only when i turned it off that it started to leak. the unit to the hose always leaks idk why i've tried it on various connections around my house since we have a lot faucets and what not but they all leak. think the threads on them are just worn out and need to be replaced or something.

For the threaded connection to the faucet there should be an o ring inside for the seal make sure that's not cracked or missing.
