I've been looking at some different RO/DI units lately and I don't know which ones would be good I know bulk reef supply are suppose to be good but I just want to see what everyone thinks and I want to know of some good ones that are fairly priced.

Spectrapure by far. No other vendor specially treats their membranes proven to improve their performance then either batch tests or individually hand tests them for quality control. They are also the only vendor to custom blend all their own DI resins in house specifically for reef use and one of the few to use only the much better capillary tube flow restrictors. 30+ years in the industry researching and developing RO products really pays off for the end user. Their slogan is "Innovators, not Imitators" and they hold lots of patents, copyrights and trademarks to prove it.

I had an AWI Typhoon III and it wasn't what I thought it would be. Sold it and bought a SpectraPure MaxCap and it was worlds different. Membrane life went from 18-124 months to 5+ years and DI life went from 150 measured gallons to over 830 measured gallons on the very first cartridge with no other changes. I even took the Typhoon Membrane out and had it bench tested at Watts and it still wasn't up to my expectations. There really is a difference. I documented it all several times on many of the reef forums and keep log books on my RO/DI systems to refer to.
