Ro/di waste water almost nil

hey folks, I need your help. I’m running a coralife pure-flo 50 gpd. I changed the membrane and when I turned on the water I got a stream out of my ro tube. Almost no waste. I’m running cold water thru the system. Here’s s picture of what I think is the flow restrictor. I’m wondering if it could be broken

I am wondering if you have the proper membrane, that does not look like a flow restrictor that I have ever seen but I could be wrong.

The membrane is brand new and reseated. The flow out of the waste line in moving now. I opened up the part which I believe is the flow restrictor and in doing so now have flow. I am now concerned that the waste to ro ratio is at 5 or 6 to 1.
