I wouldn't, their website and their product descriptions leave a lot to be desired.

You have one of the best RO/DI vendors in the country right there in Ohio with Russ at www.buckeyefieldsupply.com . My other choices would be www.spectrapure.com and www.purelyh2o.com .

I will tell you, you DO NOT want the 100 GPD membrane. If it is a Dow Filmtec then it is a 100 GPD 90% rejection rate Nano Filter or NF not a 96-98% rejection rate Reverse osmposis or RO membrane which is a huge difference. any legitimate RO/DI vendor will try their best to talk you out of the 100 as it is the worst possible choice for our use. For every 2% reduction in rejection rate you cut your DI life in half, so a 6-8% drop is a significant additional cost to you in DI resin replacements. Stick with the Dow Filmtec 75 or Spectrapures treated and tested version of the Dow Filmtec 75 which they call their 90 GPD with proven improved performance. Buckeye also offers tested membranes now.

The Max website lists things like GAC filters which no one but ebay vendors use since it only lasts 300 total gallons, thats 60 treated RO/DI gallons at the normal 4:1 waste ratio. Then they show a 2:1 waste ratio which is only feasable if you have very soft water and a lower than normal tap water TDS, otherwise you will be replacing the RO membrane very quickly as it wil plug or foul and fail due to lack of flushing when in use. They are a typical ebay vendor from what I see which is a big difference from a real reef quality RO/DI system. Stick with a proven product and vendor and its probably less money too with a Spectrapure reef quality system starting at only $130 and backed by a company in the business for 28 years.

Ok this is what I ordered SpectraPure MPDI 40gpd it's from a reef aquarium place here in ohio

It really does not matter what your tank size is or how much water you need, you still want a 75-90 GPD RO/DI system. The reason being it makes wate rmuch quicker so your faucet is not tied up for hours on end. A 90 GPD will make 10 gallons in 2.5-3 hours, the 40 GPD will have you faucet tied up for 6-7 hours to make the same amount. To save yourself time monitoring andchecking the buckets don't overfow and not being able to use that faucet for anything else a smaller GPD makes no sense. Again, the price is usually within $5-$10, all the replacement filters and resin are the same except the membrane and it is the same physical size since every canister is identical.
You do not have to make 90 gallons just because its a 90 GPD, you make what you need and shut it off.

I'm not hooking it up to my faucet,im putting it on its own line, It'll work just fine on its own and not taking up my faucet, we didn't want to buy anything any bigger for the Monet till we get the other tanks going, and by then we will have a larger gallon per day system ready
