RO/DI ?

I got a question. this red hose popped out and I took off the nut and put it back together with that little clear plug for the inside of the hose. My question what could cause this ? here is a couple pics. i have new filters from you I got. just haven't put them in yet... meter and tds is 1ppm. but has been 1 year liking a few days. only have a 4o breeder and 20L sump.

new filters just not put in yet..
is it possible to much pressure. without the pump its at the end on psi.
or how long on the filter on top ? i did not get that one

How did this end up in the etrc forum?

Could the retainer be bad?

i would second that idea, the compression ring might have have not been done right.
the nut is suppose make the clear ring compress on the line to prevent it for coming out.

update: well I took a razor blade, and cut a little off the line and reseated the hose and tightened the compression nut back down i think a little tighter. than it was before.... so far so good.....thank you for the post to try first....
