Just want to get an opinion on the DI units pictured. Put probably 500 or so gallons through them. They look like they are still good to go but wanted an opinion. I don’t want to waste the resin if I don’t have too. PPM at the final stage is still 0 so I am assuming good.

Also I am wondering when I should check the membrane.

If it were me I would definitely change the two on the right out! It appears they've already changed color. Don't know how u can check the membrane...I flush mine before each use for 5 mins to an hour depending on if I forgot to turn the flush off after 5 mins.

Something to think about... the color changing feature of the di resins doesn't always work. Sometimes, depending on your specific situation, the resin will be long depleted with no noticeable color change. If u change the other 2resins out and not the 3rd, if it is in fact depleted, you will burn through the ones u just change out much faster. Probably best to change out all 3 if they're the same age. For my situation, I have a ton of silicates in my water so I burn through maybe 5 anion stages for each cation and mixed bed stage I change out. And even then, the colors have not changed. I may be throwing out good resin but I don't want to start dumping stuff in my tank i don't have to (impurities or whatnot)

I got through resin faster than the others. Built in TDS meter dictates when I change things out. As long as it's zero is all I worry about.

when the rejection rate reduces.
