Finally got my Rodi Buddie in the mail yesterday, got it mounted up and all plumbed in now let’s see how it does

Hope it does well for,and as good water one off the important things in a reef tank,your on the right track so if it gives you what's needed/recommended then happy days ^_^

Beats buying ro water or premade saltwater mix, closest lfs is over an hour away

Yeah couldn't imagine driving and getting water in buckets/barrels off water from a lfs,especially if hour away,I can understand why some get water from an lfs,especially if small tanks or lacking funds,but if make your own you know exactly what your tds is and more chance picking stuff up as lfs may forget to change filters or resin or something

Right, beats using tap water too which I’ve had to do as well just because again an hour drive one way sucks

I have nano tanks so it’s not gotta do a whole lot, I do have to order a tds meter still tho

Me too! I just found it very frustrating to set up and the adapters not being able to fit any of my sinks in my house so it would’ve had to stay in my garage. I ended up buying a BRS one and it’s really worth that extra money….I couldn’t be happier!

I used to have the 7 stage ro/di, mixing stations and all when I had my 180g mixed reef a few years ago but I sold I completely out and was done with the hobby but some how managed to find myself right back in after almost 4 years ‍
