Currently I have the RO buddie system with dual membranes but I have four full size 10” filter housings that I’d like to use with the membranes.

Without DI resin included, what kind of filter cartridges should I use in those housing though? Should I have all 4 before the membranes or put one after the membranes? I know I need a sediment and carbon filter but what exactly should I look for, there’s many different carbon filters. For the sediment should I use a regular pleated or one of the melt blown types?

Well I would use a sediment filter, a carbon filter, then comes ro, and 2 resin canisters after the above. Pretty standard setup.

Unless your tap water has something odd in it I would use the cheapest I can find. I have a feeling you are over thinking this? Only spend enough to produce 0 tds water. Spending more wont make it better.

Spend the extra on 2 to 4 tds meter reading areas.
