From the picture i would guess that it is a check valve and the restrictor is a capillary type in the yellow line.
Really? I never heard of a capillary tube in place of a restrictor. And the same yellow color as the line? You may be correct, I would like to see this.

Edit; Checked BRS and they don't carry this.
 
What about the flow restrictor? When he moves the lines he needs to keep the restrictor in it's place, and the flush valve needs to be with the restrictor.
That's exactly what I said!
The flow restrictor on this model is in the yellow tubing with the blue cable loop. I have the same (or extremely similar) setup and the yellow line as we see it- with the bypass valve loop- all stays together and contains the restrictor.

No, but Marine Depot did and when they went out of business, BRS sold the rest of the MD products

Sorry Erin. You didn't mention this is a capillary flow restrictor. If so then he should do what you suggest. What is with the funny face on my comment #39? :)

Me neither. I have the capillary on my unit but thats Very different. I too woncer if membrane is backwards restricture free flow
