anyone ran there ro line through the attic I am thinking about this but worried about freezing

Ran my RO/DI line through the attic, but it hardly ever freezes were I am at, I am guess you are up north some were? If you are, drained the line after using you will not have problem.

Put the RO line inside a conduit...a simple larger diameter clear vinyl tubing will do. This will not only provide a bit of insulation, but in the event of a line rupture (be it from freezing or any other reason) you get a tattle tale drain from your conduit instead of a ruined ceiling.

thanks for the ideas and no I don't live that far north but our house is very very sealed so no heat or very little gets to the attic

You could run the line under the insulation, it would never get to the freezing point there.
