Hey Guys and Gals Been having issues with my Nyos 120 (Never has really worked great and always having to adjust) and was thinking up changing it out. Really like the RO 150sss but my hard piping and UV up top will only give me about 24.75 total. If I use it lowest water height could go is a little over 9". I I know they suggest 7.0-8.0 so having 2nd thoughts but really like this for my RS425. So will it work at that height or should I try something else? Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

I have this exact skimmer in my R2R 425 XL and love it. Built a small stand using egg crate and zip ties and recirculate a CO2 skimmer through it. Works great!

Yeah I read great reviews on it. Just was worried about clearance.. My hard piping is top of the cabinet and the UV runs right across the middle up top so have just under 25" of clearance with sump water depth of just about 11" so math says lowest water level could get it to with spacer (I bent a sheet of plexi and have rubber mat under it for Nyos) and a height of 23.6" for skimmer would be close to 9.5". So know this would be above what they recommend and was wondering how bad it would effect performance.
