RO system only but have two extra cannisters

I have the APEC ROES-50 GPD which is a 5 stage RO System with no DI. But I have two extra canisters. Is is possible to just hook those two canisters to the end of my 5 stage and use it for DI?

I'm really clueless when it comes to these systems and what you put in the canisters... Would i just hook it up to the end and put DI resin inside one? What should i put in the other?

Yeah they would likely work just fine. Do you happen to have a picture of them? Generally, the canisters we use in our systems have an "in" and an "out." As long as you keep those straight you should be good. Feed these canisters with the product water that comes out of your RO membrane.

If they're a standard 10" size, which they probably are, you should also get some refillable cartridges to put in them. But other than that, they should work just fine.
