Hello all, I am looking for an ro system recommendation. I have always just bought ro water from my lfs but decided to spend the money on a ro system instead of wasting so much more money on ro water every week. I was wondering what your guys opinions on what system to buy, looking for just ro water not ro di water system. My lfs recommended ro not ro di as in that is what I have used so far.

RO or RODI
BRS sells them. They are close by to you.
If you are going to filter your water, I dont see why you would want to do it 1/2 way.
Its like going to the gas station and only getting 1/2 a tank of gas.

Youll get many different answers on this one based on owner satisfaction.
For me, in the past are Marine depot units and spectrapure.
I have now an air-water-ice Typhoon 3 and very good unit.

Im glad u went air water and ice vette! :)
I alwayd recommend them. Good units. Best filters and decent customer service. Give em a call.
I suggest rodi not ro.
If ur gonna filter water. Filter is all the way.

If you're looking for a cool unit that really needs no plumbing I purchased a revolution counter top that hooks up to the faucet w a Waterhose type fitting. They went out of business but the company that bought them is , My aqua filter. My fami

Sorry about that, anyway I asked them if they would build me one w a turn off valve for the do so I can make water for the house and turn the valve on soi can make rodi for the fish tanks they got right back to me with a big yes att 150.$ price which is what I paid for the first one. And I stand behind my first one as its been amazing. Anyone looking for a easy to use or connect a rodi unit this is the one. Oh ya it's 100 gal a day and I use mine twice a week. Good luck n check them out

I’ve always just gotten them off of eBay. $145 with a tank is hard to beat. I have 136 ppm in and 4-5 ppm out. The system is also used for some drinking water (with a mineral filter on a tee), so it gets turned off and on, and I haven’t seen much or any rise in TDS. I’ve used DI in the past briefly then stopped; once I get my current tank setup I doubt I’ll use DI.
