i have 200gpd 5stg ro system, plus 10l di in the barrel. i start to use and all together new filters and new 10l of di in the old barrel. after the flushing i got so high reading on the tds outlet 17 the lowest was 10. without di i get 7. what shell i do? the clear mixed water with redsea coral pro salt i always get so high magnesium level 1600, is possibly cause no di on the ro system?

I would always recommend DI as it will make the water high resistivity and strips it completely. Unless you have taken a lab test there is no telling what is left in the RO water. You may see TDS but there is much more that the TDS meter does not read. I would get a DI addon and TDS meter or you can use a EC meter (conductivity meter) which you can turn into megaohms to ensure you have quality, pure water.

When filters are changed initially you want to run just the RO for a few gallons until your get the debris out and get TDS at or under 5, then you can hookup the new DI and run that for a gallon or two, which should take you to zero TDS. Now if you starting water is super high TDS then you may need a few more RO stages before sending it to the DI. The lower the TDS after the RO stage the longer your DI will last.
