I am looking into getting a RO system due to my Reef Tank and drinking water are the systems the same or do you need a certain system for the reef tank

Technically but it's not recommended. There is zero minerals, salts or anything in ro/do water. It will deplete your body of electrolytes and other minerals that you would get from water. Everyone says no for regular drinking, but it is good for coffee I hear.

can you set up a system that does both by any chance

You can always put in a T with a valve or a T Valve after the RO but before the DI for drinking. Best of both worlds:)

thank you so much really helped

Not a problem, a T Valve is usually recommended anyway to divert the first few seconds of water away from the DI filter to avoid the excess TDS cause by TDS creep from your RO membrane when you first turn on the filter to make water. This helps extend the life of your DI Resin.

Are you meaning the whole Filter system or just the valves?

Yes typically those stores do only carry the RO side of things. Bulk reef supply does have an extensive line of complete systems at decent prices, I run a spectrapure 4 stage with a BRS water saver upgrade and love it. But really most of these systems are the same the big thing is to make sure what you have in them filter wise is the best you can get. Quality membranes and prefilters are what make your system perform it's best.

The only thing id suggest different from the above system is getting a system with a membrane with a slightly higher rejection rate than the 100gpd

yeah that would be the final upgrade later on down the road for now I just to fill my 3 - 5 gal jugs of RO/DI water, and to make my own salt water.
