Just got my new RO system. Looks nice but I can't seem to install the water lines.. there's 'end caps' on them by the looks, they have small removable blue rings around the join.

I'm hoping something generic so someone will tell me what I'm doing

You have to remove the blue locking clip. That will allow the collet claw to push in so the cap can be removed. Then push your tubing all the way in and replace the blue locking clips. That will lock the tubing in place.

These fittings have a double o-ring in the collet. The collet has a small plastic sleeve fitted to it, which the locking slip secures. You need to cut your RODI line quite square and clean. You then remove the blue locking clip to allow the collet sleeve to slide in. When you push the RODI line in you should feel two ‘bumps’ as the line goes into the collet - they are the two o-rings. As ReefHog said you then need to replace the blue locking clips to move the collet sleeve out and lock again.

If you need to remove the line, remove the locking clips, push and hold the collet sleeve down with your thumbnail and pull the RODI line out.
