pretty confusing all the diff RO systems out there and the variety. Wondering if 3 or 4 stage will work fine. Do I need anything else besides the filter system itself for a complete system and what brands would be recommended. Just working with a 75g setup. Any suggestions or help would be awesome and thank you in advance!

You will do great with 4 stages and a system such as this:
Refurbished 90-GPD RODI System
The only thing you will need to add is a handheld TDS meter such as the TDS-3, TDS-4TM or AP-1.
Other vendors I suggest looking at are Buckeye Hydro and PurelyH2o. Both have similar systems in about the same price range with the proper micron rated filters.
