Hi guys,

I recent received a new RO unit but it was missing the manual for some reason.

This is how I have it connected at the moment:

Green arrow is from the tap, the red is waste and the blue is what I’m hoping is RO water.

Does this look right to you guys? I hardly get any water coming from what I would think is the waste line.

It actually looks completely wrong. The waste line has to come off the flush valve.

Did u piece this all together??

What are in the canisters, what filters??

What filter is on top??

If the is a sediment, carbon and ro membrane then it is wrong.

Red in. Blue out. Green waste but need to switch the plumbing out of the flush valve.

Dont know what the filter on top is.

I think you have the red and green flipped. The water should enter through the filters on the bottom (I assume a sediment and carbon filter) then through the RO portion, then through the di.

It also looks like the di section needs to be packed more, there shouldn't be a big section of no resin.

Just my opinion from what I can see

You have the green and red arrows backwards

Thank you for the input guys, really appreciate it.

I tried that as well after my first go but this is what I ended up with:

Regarding the resin, yeah it seems to be poorly packed but I doubt I need to change it just yet. Haven’t even used the unit yet since I wasn’t sure on the plumbing.

The on and off valve is for the membrane flush that should be off. you only to to use that for a few seconds to flush the membrane

I know. However, regardless of of/on position water is rushing through one of the tubes.

The only line that weren’t connected when it arrived was the red and green ones so I can’t understand how I could screw this up [emoji1]

is the membrane installed ?? under the valve, there is a flow restrictor, the little tube looking thing that the valve bypasses. does that have a number. something is very wrong to get a full stream like that.
the rest seems like great answers from people in the thread.

di is way too loose in the chamber. it won't do anything but channel past.

@MichaelE - I just got done installing my #BRS 6 STAGE RODI with a Dual Membrane upgrade including a booster pump above my 50-gallon saltwater mixing station. On offensive mate but I would buy your self a new RODI until since they are not that much money these days! It will be worth it and I will tell you why - you got to have some sort of ATO RODI Solenoid in order to shut down your RODI system since you don't want it to keep turning on and off and on and off since that will lead to salt Creep.

Here some pictures of my set up and how I have my RODI connected to my saltwater mixing station.

I think green should be waste

Thank you for all the input guys! Finally got in touch with the retailer and it turns out that it’s defective. They will be sending out a new one first thing on Monday.

That makes me feel better, I couldn’t understand why I had such a hard time figuring this thing out [emoji1]

thats all we had to diagnose was defective, everyone knew that. :)
glad there is a resolution.

Where yo have the red arrow that should be input the green arrow is waste water and the blue is good RODI water.
