RO units

I'm about to get an RO unit and I was wondering if copper and reef tanks don't mix how do you plumb the RO unit? I only have copper piping going through the house. will the RO unit filter out the copper in water? thanks for the help

The RODI filters will do that as they made for 0.0 TDS (total dissolved solids) that means nothing is in the water
