RO waste water okay for planted tank?

I got my tds meter today and checked my waste water and it reads around 750. I have a 50 gal planted tank and was wondering to help minimize waster would I be able to use my waste water for my water changes in that tank? the waste water does not read any levels of ammonia phosphate or nitrate. although the phosphate test kit turns more of a gray color than completely clear and blue means there are phosphates. I have already done one water change with my waste water that was before I got my TDS meter. everything is still doing fine in planted tank.

I have heard the same. Only thing I head was that the water may be harder than normal which I dont think is a big deal in my planted tank.

for 5 gallon change every week or two I wouldnt think it would be a big deal. I probably would use strictly waste water to fill my whole 50 gallon tank up with.

Whats your tap TDS? My waste water is about 20-50 ppm less than my tap water. It has been ran through a sediment and carbon filter, that alone makes it cleaner than tap. Not sure on if it concentrates minerals. I would imagine not when thinking how a ro membrane works.

I guess it depends on the fish. Some fish like a little softer water. I have a planted tank and I whould use waste water.

my waste is filling up and measures 619 probably more accurate now.
