Hi guys I’ve just started in the awesome hobby after being scared to take the plunge for years and I’m currently buying my salt and ro water from my local fish shops however I wondered if I could keep a 25 litre tub of ro water and how long I’d be able to keep it for cause its not always possible with work to get to the shop when I need it
Many thanks

It really depends. Partly on the material the container is made of, the temp it's kept at, and how long. For me it's roughly a month. I would recommend highly buyin your own RODI system and just making it as you need it though.

Many thanks it would just be in a plastic water container and I’d only need to keep it for like a week maximum and an ro/di system is 100 percent my next purchase just waiting for pay day

yes, it stores well, make sure you have a food safe container with a cover, check out this video.

I store my RO/DI water in 5 gallon food grade buckets I picked up from home depot. I just sterilize them between uses, seal them really good with the lids they come with and store them in the basement where it's nice and cool. They never really sit too long anyway. A month at most...

I always keep some RO/DI water in a brute can with a lid, as I'm always pulling water out of it weekly. It's never dry.

"If" it's just RO (not RO/DI), and "if" you don't have a large tank, and "if" your grocery store is much closer than your LFS, maybe just bring home a few gallons of 98-cent Distilled water when you shop. Just a thought. (I know that was a lot of "ifs"... lol... Best wishes.)
