I've searched and read the threads on this forum on the subject, and just want to tray and make sure. I rinced a piece of the Nori I bought from my local grocery store into a cup of salt water, and then happened to smell it. It had a very strong smell. I'm not sure if it was the natural smell of sea weed, or, the "roasting" I was smelling. The packaging did not indicate any additives, and I was confident it was the same nori I've read about herein that many seem to use. Does your nori smell? Are there any negative implications of "roasted" nori?
